Open Mic Night With Host TerryLynn Melody

Please join us for a very special Open Mic night with guest host TerryLynn Melody, a very talented Sarasota-based singer/songwriter!

ABOUT TERRYLYNN MELODY
TerryLynn Melody (sounds a bit like the Indigo Girls and has opened for Deb Hunseder of Halcyon).

Melody began performing as a child in musical theater and recitals, in her hometown of New Bern, NC.  Her mother, a Performing Arts graduate and professional singer, was her role model and teacher. Guided by a need to find her voice an an artist, she began exploring songwriting as a means to tell her story. The resulting songs are an ever growing catalog of original material. She recently produced her first CD "Counting Daydreams"  featuring Country Music Hall of Fame artist Charlie McCoy on 2 of the 12 original tracks spanning country, folk, pop and blues. She is grateful for the audiences who have let her share her stories and songs with them. They have played an integral part in her finding her voice.

Sarasota is currently installing a roundabout at 14th Street and 41 South and has eliminated left-hand turns if you are headed southbound toward Sarasota Downtown. You can avoid construction and easily get to The Reserve if you are southbound by turning left at the lighting store (Light Up Your Life) and heading South on Cocoanut to a right-hand turn on 14th Street.

PARKING
We have 100 parking spaces to the South of our location, at West Indies (1312 N. Tamiami Trail) and after 5 pm, at the Center for Arts & Humanity (1226 N. Tamiami Trail), also directly south of our building. Parking is also: 1) In The Reserve lot (concrete spaces or spaces on the pebbles), 2) On-site in our designated parking area at the intersection of 14th and 41 (follow the small brown Reserve sign). All are a very short walk to The Reserve.
