Deb Hunseder, of Halcyon, returns to The Reserve for another supreme performance with her beautiful voice and trusty acoustic guitar.
Deb was recently booked to play on the Melissa Etheridge/Sarah McLachlan cruise, as well as with Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20. But here's how it all began:
Deb Hunseder and Steph Callahan of Halcyon met in 1989 and had their first gig two weeks later. The harmonies were magic. From the first note, they knew they had something that could not be matched. Since 1989 the duo has opened for national acts including John Mayer, India.Irie, Joan Osborne, Tabithas Secret (now Matchbox 20), Sister Hazel, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Joan Bias, Cheryl Wheeler, Wynonna Judd, Patrice Pike, Sarah Bettens, Melissa Ferrick, and Koko Taylor.
Deb has also lent her voice to the national anthem for the Atlanta Braves, Tampa Rays and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Deb and Halcyon built a iron-clad fan base by touring the US and abroad. They've played many mainstage Pride events, Olivia cruises and festivals including Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Alaska, York, England and tour heavily in the southeastern US.
Now, Deb is back again, SOLO, at The Reserve! You may want to come early to get a great seat, as the performances are always full!
Also, happy hour specials on select craft beers and wines! Non-alcoholic beverages available, too!
FREE Admission. Rain or shine.
Approach Information (Due to Construction on 41):
Sarasota is currently installing a roundabout at 14th Street and 41 South and has eliminated left-hand turns if you are headed southbound toward Sarasota Downtown. You can avoid construction and easily get to The Reserve if you are southbound by turning left at the lighting store (Light Up Your Life) and heading South on Cocoanut to a right-hand turn on 14th Street.
We have four parking options for your convenience. Parking is: 1) In The Reserve lot (concrete spaces or spaces on the pebbles), 2) On-site in our designated parking area at the intersection of 14th and 41 (follow The Reserve sign), 3) On-street on 13th, 14th, and 15th Streets (just be careful not to block neighbors' driveways), and 4) At West Indies, immediately south of our location (you can park and walk to The Reserve--it's easy!). Please stop in and visit with West Indies, too.
