Please join The Reserve for our Open Mic night with special guest hosts "The Boomers" (a duo, Scott and Bob) + Motorworks Brewing Tap Takeover + BBQ Night!
ABOUT THE BOOMERS
The Boomers are Scott and Bob, from Bradenton, Florida and their instruments are guitars, banjos, mandolin, and dobro with songs including Dylan, Peter, Paul, and Mary, Woody Guthrie, and more. The story starts in 1971 at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois, where they both were playing weekend rock band gigs at frat houses. It was fun, but brief, and the two of them lost touch after graduation. Forty-six years later, their paths cross again through Facebook where they discovered they were living just two miles away from each other after all those years. The Boomers specialize in acoustic blues from the 1940s to the 1960s, folk songs, story songs, real country and bluegrass.
