Join us at The Reserve for an intimate evening with Deb Hunseder and Stephanie Callahan of Halcyon. This is a FIRST for Sarasota, but the duo has toured Atlanta, St. Pete, and hundreds of other destinations, including Europe.
Here's how the magic all began:
Deb Hunseder and Steph Callahan of Halcyon met in 1989 and had their first gig two weeks later. The harmonies were magic. From the first note, they knew they had something that could not be matched. Since 1989 the duo has opened for national acts including John Mayer, India.Irie, Joan Osborne, Tabithas Secret (now Matchbox 20), Sister Hazel, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Joan Bias, Cheryl Wheeler, Wynonna Judd, Patrice Pike, Sarah Bettens, Melissa Ferrick, and Koko Taylor.
Deb and Halcyon built a iron-clad fan base by touring the US and abroad. They've played many mainstage Pride events, Olivia cruises and festivals including Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Alaska, York, England and tour heavily in the southeastern US.
You'll want to come early to get a great spot, as their performances are always full!
Their two-hour performance will be followed by a live Q&A. Don't miss this unique and unforgettable event!
Also, happy hour specials on select craft beers and wines! Non-alcoholic beverages available, too! Light bites available.
$10 general admission, through Eventbrite. In event of rain or inclement weather that is not conducive to performing, this show will be re-scheduled to a future date. (Pray for great/good weather on 1/12!!!)
Due to demand, we’ve just recently released another 25 tickets through Eventbrite. Capacity is limited! We strongly encourage you to pay for your tickets online in advance. Tickets at the door will be $15 each.
APPROACH INFORMATION (Due to Construction on 41):
Sarasota is currently installing a roundabout at 14th Street and 41 South and has eliminated left-hand turns if you are headed southbound toward Sarasota Downtown. You can avoid construction and easily get to The Reserve if you are southbound by turning left at the lighting store (Light Up Your Life) and heading South on Cocoanut to a right-hand turn on 14th Street.
The Reserve has 100 parking spaces to the South of our location, at West Indies (1312 N. Tamiami Trail) and after 5 pm, at the Center for Arts & Humanity (1226 N. Tamiami Trail), also directly south of our building. Parking is also: 1) In The Reserve lot (concrete spaces or spaces on the pebbles), 2) On-site in our designated parking area at the intersection of 14th and 41 (follow the small brown Reserve sign). All are a very short walk to The Reserve.
